Although summer camp is almost over now and I'm getting better at catching anything thrown my way...I needed to be reminded of a few things the first week of camp...
During lunch time on the first day, my camp hadn't really bonded yet and the campers were quietly eating and not talking at all. So, I attempted to make small talk and get some conversations going! I tried to think about what they'd be interested in and I knew the latest Twilight movie had just come out. "Has anyone seen the new Twilight movie?!" Everyone just looked at me without a word, and then one girl said, "Twilight is PG-13...we're 9."
